Our Story
Garland Harrison founded Harrison Appliance as a convenience store in 1987. His motivation was to provide quality and warrantied appliances for lower income properties. He believed that providing value at an affordable price would build trust with his customers who depend on him for their appliance needs.
After only a few years of operating, his son, Wayne Harrison, was interested in moving from his business of service stations to a service provider of appliances. He joined his father at Harrison Appliance. With the break Sears Installs provided at that time, Harrison Appliance expanded quickly.
We look forward to future expansion while still maintaining our commitment to quality service and quality products without the big box company price. We are Harrison Appliance, your local appliance sales, service and care center. We work with your best interests in mind. We give honest pricing and recommendation for repairs/sales.
What We Do
Harrison appliance provides sales for new, scratch and dent, and used appliances. We also service appliances either here at the shop on 22307 Dabney Mill Rd, Petersburg, VA 23803 or your location for your convenience in a scheduled window during the weekday hours of business.
We do:
- Repair on dryers and washer machines
- Maintenance to dryer vents
- Electric and gas range maintenance and repair
- Repair to refrigerators most all brands with few exceptions
- Delivery for all appliances
- Installation of all appliances
- Hood vent replacement

We also provide 30 day warranty for our used appliances.
